wassup G35 forum? Hello from Seattle. Full disclosure… I’m prolly twice everyones age here lol. Also, I never meant to own one of these cars. It just happened and I’m stoked it did.

This is my recently acquired 03 sedan. It is an early one with the goofy thing on the trunk. What happened is my friend/client texted me and asked if I wanted his step-moms Infiniti that she bought new 20+ years ago. Garaged since new with 69k miles. Never in an accident.

He didn’t know what model it was. He told me a price that I didn’t care. I showed up there and it was this base G35 sedan that in late 2002 step-mom/grandma was all excited for. Still had all the brochures and everything from the dealer with the features she liked circled in ink.

She ordered it with the xenon headlights which I believe is the only option my car has. When I got there her new Subaru Crosstrek was in the garage where the ‘35 had lived the last 21 years.

I looked the car over for about 35 seconds and handed her the cash. This car is nice. Not absolutely like new but dang sporty grandma kept it up very well all these years. From day 1, only dealer serviced.

Driving back to my office… I was impressed! So much so that later that day I texted a buddy who loves Audis. That evening he hauled away my hog of a daily, an 09 A6 Avant. buh-bai 300 German supercharged ponies and all your needs.

guys/gals I have plenty of other cars/bikes that I mod or play around with. I’m just gonna keep this one mint and drive it.

These Goodyears are plenty meaty but old. She roasts the rears in the wet far too easily lol. I’m getting new rubber.

There is one simple mod I considered since I don’t mind a staggered look… was this exact style 17” wheel offered an inch or so wider? If so I’ll source a couple and throw them on the back.

Wow! Sweet ride! It’s amazing to find something like that in such nice shape and low miles. Glad you are loving it and dedicated to keeping it nice!
