Whats Up?...Liquid Platinum '06 6mt

Hey Guys,

Its been a long time coming. I've been on this site for a while without owning a G. I've been wanting this car since I first saw it on Fresh Alloy before it came out in the summer of '02.

Well I finally joined the family!

Congratulations!!
Thanks for the pic....I still can't decide on which color I want. I was more impressed by seeing the LP in person (although dark covered in white tape), and maybe this pic is just shaded.....

We'd all love to see more pics when you can post!!

Enjoy!!

Thanks guys...

I actually took a bunch of pics and have more at different angles. I intended to attach rear pics to show off the spoiler. But being fairly new and not really knowing the best way to attach pics to fit. By the time I cropped the one attached, I basically said F' IT and felt it was good enough. I just wanted to introduce my car asaps.

Put it this way, I am not a spoiler guy at all...even on other cars. The whole time, I envisioned myself driving a G without a spoiler. But when I first saw the '06 spoiler in person I had a change of heart...as you can see.

Give me time to post more pics especially without the house shading. LP is so much lighter than my attachment showed! With day light savings and all, Its already dark by the time I get out of work. I also have to research a little more on posting pics more efficiently.....

Congrats! That is a beautiful new G . . . And an '06 to boot. I trust you are enjoying your new car, as you should. I would love to see more pics of the new LP color and of the rear spoiler.

Oh, and a warm welcome to the boards.

By any chance did you get this G from Infiniti of Montclair? I was there last Saturday and saw a G just like yours out in front being prepped or something.

Yeah man, that was me at Montclair on Saturday...

Alright, I have a bunch of pics to post but I need help finding out how to post them. My files are too big. I was attempting to crop them ghetto style but know there is a better way. Can someone forward me a link on this board on how to attach or post pics. Of course I tried searching for it, but didnt find what I needed.

Thanks in advance...

Congrats

Hey, nice ride. Haven't had a chance to check out an '06 yet. Are there much in the way of changes? I've got a Lakeshore Slate '05 with premium and sport packages.

I'm sort of like you, I had my mind set on a silver one, but when i got to the dealer and actually as they were doing up the paperwork, i was sitting next to a lakeshroe blue which was still in it's wrapper in the showroom. Flipped back and forth painfully and even made them unwrap her and take it out into natural light so i could see the color better!

I wasn't real thrilled on a spoiler, but I just had to have the sport package as it just seemed like a heck of a deal to me to get the better suspension setup/nicer wheels/and the limited slip for possible power upgrades later. Now that I have spoiler, it's grown on me as it just sort of blends right with the other lines on the car and seems right and now when i see a G without a spoiler it looks naked. Oh young love i guess!!!

Hey enjoy that ride, nice!

Greg

Thanks Greg, changes are subtle and really only noticeable to G owners and enthusiasts as I learned from the Chino Hills gang...

For the past year or so I pretty much knew exactly what I wanted. It was pretty much a loaded (Sports and Premium package) BO/Willow (I like to call it Black and Tan) but without the aero. As you can see I ended up with pretty much the opposite, so go figure. The 06 rear spoiler really hit me hard as spoilers weren't my taste.

Anyway, I can totally relate to your experience with going back and forth. But so far so good...now we just got to take care of it...

Thanks for the pics. I'm really digging the new spoiler. 3/4 rear pics are not eyesores anymore!
