Be sure to check oil level!

Just a heads up. Just prior to taking my car in for it's 7500 mile service,
it began to make a engine noise at cold starts. It turns out that the oil
level was low. This occured without any warning lights to let me know of
this problem. I also had no idea that at such low miles that oil consumption
would be something I would have to worry about. I now will know to check
my oil level at regulor intervals independent of the scheduled services.

Somewhat disappointed after not having any such problem with my past
BMW.

I'd suggest checking the engine oil after every other gas fill up.
