Hi'a! Just bought a 6 speed G35, pickin' her up sat. CANT WAIT. I was out to buy a Z, test drove both, and simply feel inlove with the G. Plus it's from a good dealer. Have been through 3 Maxima's (proud maxima.org member for many yrs), and my last car I left the Nissan/Infiniti fam, I had a 2003 Acura CL type-S 6-speed, compared to the handling on the G,that thing was a boat! lol! I already bought the tinted bumper lights, plemun spacer and Injen CAI. The plemun spacer is a 'New' mod compared to what I'm used to. Usually it's Intake, Exhaust, headers, Pullys. But the gains on this VQ are very differant from my Acy- CAI for example was 12hp gains to the wheels (yes, dyno. proven at Acurazine.com, also proud former member), the G from what I, SEARCHED, lol, is like 2-3hp gain, aw well. The VQ is difficult to get hp out of due to its already good state of tune.
So any mods will yield marginal gains.
