its official now

Hello:

Thanks to all who replied to my last thread and questions. I'm now an official owner of a black on black 2004 6MT! It ended up being a tossup between an 04 and 05, but I really liked my navigation option and the black on black (winters are dirty) and wasn't into going up another $3,500 for the 05. It seemed to me the 05 shifted just a little better, but I could not tell which one was faster after some extensive test drives. I hope I made the right decision.

It has 20000 miles, has all options with the navigation. So far, I noticed I have a tire pressure indicator light on, which I may have to get checked out. I also thought that after 5 minutes or so on "high," my heated seat turned off. I switched it to "low" and it was back on. Those are two things I will read up on and likely have checked out at the dealer. Fortunately, there is a good deal of warranty left.

Looking forward to contributing to the group,

Bryan

CONGRATS.. welcome to the boards... 04 huh... BREMBO TIME !!! TPS (tire pressure) could just check out the tires yourself ... and if they ok ,then you might wana get it checked out by a PRO... Seat warmer... hmmm how long did you have it on... i live in Cali and i turn it on right when i get in the car (when i think its cold) and my *** gets to hot after like 2 minutes of it... maybe it has a safety switch so your seat dont catch fire

Thanks, yes, I leveled them all off at 34, but will have to check out the standard pressures by reading the owners manual, forums, etc. As for the Brembos, I haven't put them through the paces yet, but do enjoy how they look.

congrats.

I am still amazed somebody can sit inside an 03-04 G35, then sit inside an 05 G35, and still pick the 03-04 however.

How does it compare to your old Prelude? Especially handling wise?
