Nikon lens for sale

Please move this to the appropriate forum if this is not the right place, I just didn't see where I could sell a non-G35 related item.

As there are quite a few budding and experienced photogs on this site, I feel that someone may be interested in a lens that I am selling.

Nikkor 12-24mm f/4G IF-ED

Perfect condition, less than a year old. Have all packaging/accessories. Asking $950, shipped in Canada.

Thanks.

awesome lens, though considering the strong canadian $, you might want to consider lowering the price to match the market considering it costs less brand new.

I hear what you're saying and appreciate the words, but it's still $1250 at Henry's and seeing as this is a Canadian one, the warranty is in tact in Canada, whereas the US version loses warranty for a user up here.

Also, if you purchase in the US, you'll get hit with the duty and taxes (assuming it's coming to Canada)

If the lens doesn't sell at the current price, I'll reconsider a lower price.

Very nice lens. Would have considered it but I'm tapped out temporarily - just bought the Nikkor 18 - 200 mm VR lens and a D80 body, so I have to stop camera/camera-related shopping for the meantime.

Best of luck with your sale.

I've also got the 18-200VR and it's a terrific "all-in-one". Perfect lens for when you need to travel light. D80 is sweet as well. Looking forward to seeing some of your pics.

I'm in Kitchener. I'm just trimming the kit and as the 18-200 is more versatile, I've decided to let the 12-24 go. I know I'm going to miss the 12-18 range, but I need to be realistic and the 12-24 is getting less and less use from me as I go for a lighter camera bag.

Oh, and the D3's appearance this fall may have me going to full frame... which will move me towards the 14-24 f/2.8

I read about the new full frame D3 and the new D300 on the Nikon Canada site - what amazing cameras - people are preordering at the local camera shops here in Calgary. In checking out your post of your lens pics I noticed you have a D200...very nice camera. The metering is better than my D80. Anyway - if you do decide to buy a D3 and are looking to sell your D200, let me know.

Hi BMC,

I actually have a D3 on order. PM me if you're interested in discussing the potential purchase of my D200.
