NJ State Trooper+Radar= Me 104 (Sigh)

doing 104 on RT.80 NJ.....

answer: Lose your license for 30 days(5PTS). + Wreckless driving?
another 5 points
I was merging to rt.80 Express, I had a good 100 Ft from going local or Express... I floor and it pass a station wagon... When I saw the state trooper sitting in the middle island. I saw him move and I pulled over right away.

Officer:Insurance, License and Registration please
Be honest with me, you get 1 chance. How fast do you think you were going?
Me: (thinking to myself 90+) Over 100+ sir!
Officer: I'll be right back.
20 mins pass and the State Police comes back.
Officer: Since you don't have points (since day 1 off driving, first ticket in 9 years) I'll give you a break, I clocked you at 104! In the state of NJ that's automatic suspension of your license! on top of that Wreckless driving another 5 Points.... I also appreciate you pulling over right away, and not letting me chase you.
I'm giving you a speeding ticket of 85 on a 55. I don't want to catch you doing that again.
ME: Thank you Officer (Shakes his Hand) Peels the **** out, Gets pulled over again....

I got pretty lucky. I was stupid and got off easy with just a speeding ticket.
When the state trooper approached my car he had ENERGY! I remember learning a while back, make the cop feel comfortable and he'll probably give you a break.

Pullin over right away could proclaim your guilt right away or show the cop some respect and cut you a lil slack. In this case I guess it was the right move. Smart...I mean you still got a ticket but it could have been way worse as you stated. Now u've joined me in the 30 over boat except I m in NYC.

Well he caught me red handed.
From what i've heard, read.. if you make it easy for the cop they'll probably work with you.

Well called in to check it's 5 points and around $250. I'll probably plead not guilty and see if it can be reduced. But the guy said they'll probably drop 1 point. then if I take the Defense class taht's probably another 2 down.

I went to work driving 65 and went home driving 65
