Does the reception really go in the crapper when there is a storm in this area?

Also, along the same lines... what about with HD programming? I imagine HD programming would remain as it is throughout the storm even though the rest of the channels have degraded in quality.

The whole system works like that. When clouds roll in real heavy the system goes in the crapper until the clouds pass.

It's a good indicator when the rain is gonna be coming, ur TV starts to get funky.....

 

Three of my coworkers have DirectTV and swear by it, even in the rain. But they live in a level, tree-less area. I'm down in a valley.
