Just a heads-up for people in Boston looking to get an oil change... pretty good price for a dealer, and they give you a free wash and vacuum. Just make sure to remind them about the wash and vac, as they will sometimes "forget."

not yet... but that is the plan when i do my all-fluid service...

when i get back in the spring, i'm going to do synthetic oil, diff fluid change, tranny fluid change, brake fluid change, everything...

btw, how often do you change your synthetic? 5000 miles? 7500?

I don't let the dealership wash my car because they usually swirl up the paint. It's a generic hand wash and vac (Acura does it to anything that enters the shop).

I had the dealership "wash" my car once, and they didn't wash the front end, hood, or roof - was just as dirty as before. The driver's side door was pretty clean, but other than that, I don't even know what they washed. lol This was at Infiniti of Norwood.

I'd never let that service department touch my car again...they'd probably forget to put the oil fill cap back on after adding the oil.....
