How 'bout a Good Tuner in NJ?

Hey guys,

Does anyone have any experience with a good G35 tuner in the NJ area? I am new to the G35 game, I could probably name about 10 for Mustangs (I think I took my car to every one of them at one time), but I need a good tuner in NJ for G35's.

thanks for the help.

Don

They are Authorize dealer of Greddy and APS, so they know Unichip and E-Manage, and they are also a UTEC dealer (I think) so they are also familiar with it. oh, they also have a Load base Dyno in house

Three best shops in the area are Car V2 in Wilmington, DE; MRC in Spotswood, NJ and Performance Motorsports in Hicksville, NY.

I think I am going to check out MRC very shortly.

They quoted me about $1200 for UTEC, tune and dyno.

Install/tune/dyno for $1200 that's not bad.

Must be not much of a tune. A utec usually cost around 1000 bucks. add 100 for the install and 150 for one hour of dyno time, you come up with 1250. maybe they are getting a smoking deal on utecs or you're gonna get one of those cookie cutter tunes. just my .02

I have seen deals of around $850 for the UTEC. Given that MRC has tuned a bunch of UTECS in G's and Z's, I am sure they have maps ready for just about every mod or combination. Anything different would just need fine tuning which shouldn't take that long once a base is set.

Actually Butthole, or Bulletproof, whatever your name is, we were the ORIGINAL 350Z utec tuners, and have been doing it since the unit was in protoype stages. The UTEC is running on my car for over a year at the 600whp level and a prefect 11.8 A/F ratio..
The reason we can give such a good deal is that we are Wholesale Distibuters on the UTEC, we generally sell the UTEC for $799-850 range and $400 for the tune with Dyno time if you but the utec from us.If the UTEc is sourced elsewhere we charge $695 for our tune and time..
If you would like I can charge YOU $1000 for the UTEC and $695 for the tune, every other member of this forum I will charge $1200 installed and tuned for one N/A map..
Tunning generally takes about 2-4 hours plus road tweaking..
If multiple members are interested I could set up a group rate on the tunes..

Watch it Julian, your beef aint with me. If you still got squabbles with sharif take it out on him. I was giving an opinion based on retail prices. If you are hooking the guy up, do your thing. But please believe, your insults hold no more weight than the iraqi insurgents that i deal with on a weekly basis. btw, just because Your shop can hook up people with these prices doesnt mean everyone else can. my quote is based on how much i paid for my utec with 3 bar map sensor and map selector back in march.
