Re: Full Northeast Meet in NJ???
I'll post up the name of the rest area that is after exit 13 so that we could have a pick up point there as well. We'll be putting up times for these pick up areas for the caravan soon as well. Organizers for the caravan please e-mail or pm me so that we could setup the times for the pick up.

Re: Full Northeast Meet in NJ???
If anyone is interested in having a caravan setup from Long Island, please e-mail me at rthomas@nyee.edu. Otherwise, everyone from nyc and LI area could meet at the rest area right after exit 13 on 95 south. I'll post up the name and other info of this rest stop as soon as I find out. Thanks.

Re: Full Northeast Meet in NJ???
At what time will people be leaving the rest stop after Exit 13?
We will have a caravan leaving Bergenfield, NJ around 8:10 and we will stop and meet up with the other caravan leaving the stop Speedoholic posted which is on the eastern spur of the turnpike. We should be able to get to the one after Exit 13 around 9:00 AM. Please advise if that time is OK.

Re: Full Northeast Meet in NJ???
As it looks right now, the ATX and the exit 13 stops should do it. I haven't heard anything about people who want to meet at the eastern spur meet point. As of now, it is still on, but as we get closer to the date, if no one is interested, we can skip that location, and save some time on the way down to exit 13.

Re: Full Northeast Meet in NJ???
I probably could borrow my sister in law's digi cam, but the problem is that I'll be coming alone, and so I don't think I'll be able to shoot and to drop hammers at the same time...

Re: Full Northeast Meet in NJ???
OK, talked to the track owner today, here's the scoop:
Admission is $13 per person(non racing), $25 per driver&car for racing.
So if you bring your car and 2 passengers and you plan on racing it will cost $51.
There will be an area in the pit/paddock reserved for parking for just our group.
There will be staging lanes available for our group.
I think they have 5 or 6 lanes and we will get enough to handle our traffic.
We won't get any track time of our own, as has been mentioned. We can stage together, but the format for when you race is first come/first served.
You will be able to pair up, but you need to work that out with who you want to race against.
The track opens at 8am, and racing starts at 9am I believe.
I know alot of you are planning on 11am for arriving but the earlier you get there the more runs you get. There is no discount in race fee if you get there later in the day.
There will be electric available at no cost for a DJ/PA announcer, but details for the use of DJ/PA will be worked out the day of event with track management, IE: emergency announcements, etc.
The track has concessions and there is a WaWa deli/convenience store less than a mile from the track.
Gas is about 3 miles away. For those of you that want to run light tanks.
I think that is it, any questions fire away.
Best,
JD
