So who's all going? We getting some of the "old crew" to come out? It has been so long since we all got together.

 

What time is this event starting? Its it going to be an all day thing or are we expected to run sometime in the evening? I only ask because there is going to be an AutoCross at this place also, and I'd love to goto both.

anyone thats going, if you are going to be around the night before, let me know. we should try to all meet up, go out for eats and drinks somewhere. i'll be there, i'm close by, so lets get goin!

 

Myself and some others from Team 350 Gz will prob come down friday evening and will be staying until sunday morning

i am still waiting on anyone who would be kind enough to recommend a safe and close hotel to raceway park

PS: Gavin, the autocross starts at 8am at raceway park, and a bunch of other stuff will be going on as well, we prob be there all day affair

 

how close? there aren't many in the immediate area, maybe 20 mins away

 

we looking for something thats not a dump and thats family friendly, plus would like our cars to be safe as well

I went to Raceway parks office to make sure that the event was going to happen, and it is. The new guy who is in charge of it is going to give the details next week. Save the date! Car show, drags, let's make it a day and have some fun!

There are really no new details other than what is posted in the the other thread by Racewaypark. The person you spoke to has the info in an email but will not be handling the event, someone else @ the track will be overseeing it and has all been set. We maybe be getting some additional track time prior to the lanes opening up but that hasn't been confirmed yet.

Several peeps ( that I know of ) will be @ the track early for the autoX. There are prob others going too. That is a nice event to test your skills even if one has never done it before.

Yes, ppl should come out for the show/track day. The last event there was alot of phun.

 

watch out Scootch is coming down to NJ for the weekend =0) with some guys from Team 350 Gz, ill be there friday afternoon til sunday morning, so look out for us cruising around the track area friday night, dont feel shy to say hi or flay us down ;0)

Check out the link below. i stayed at this place a few weeks back after a wedding. The hotel rooms are decent, i mean it's not a hilton but it's cool has a good bar and food and the parking area is HUGE!!!. It is in a safe area and isn't really around any naborhoods that i would consiter to cause any type of problems with the cars. Come to think of it i don't even think it's around any houses. It's right off of route 33 (express) not the 33 (busi).

It's about 15 - 20 min from the track. depending on traffic. It's about 5 - 7 miles looking at map quest.
Just an FYI. not really any other places around that come to mind. unless you want to stay by my house. About 30 - 40 min from the track.

 

let's get a list of who's attending going. i'm gonna ask a mod to help me out.
