Anyone buy a G at a dealership in Connecticut? What was the experience like? Did they push add-ons, etc?

I went to two different dealerships in CT. I first went to George Harte Infiniti of West Haven. They were awful. They always kept me waiting (up to an hour at one point, even after I called ahead of time), tried to push packages I didnt want and seemed to know less about the car than I did.
I then went to Devon Infiniti in Fairfield. They were much more personal and professional. They also gave us(my dad ordered an I35) the best deal on two cars. The dealer in West Haven couldnt come close. Thats why my car will be arriving at Inifinti of Devon next month.

 

What options did you get? color? How much off MSRP did you get since you bought 2 cars?

I ordered a coupe from Devan as well, and thought they were very professional and pretty knowledgeable. They told me 60-90 days for the wait, which isn't too bad since I don't really want to be driving it in the snow (18" tires).

 

My car is Diamond Graphite, 6MT, Aero, Nav, and Premium package. The deal was mainly for my dad, his car got a discount, but mine didnt. They said since the coupe is in such high demand, they cant mark it down. My dads car was around 35,000, and he got it for 30,000.

 

I tried buying it in CT but they were not delievering 6MT before August. I ended up buying from Boston. It was a no hassle purchase. The only catch was that i had to get the car registered in CT myself.

 

August 2003??? Are you kidding? Which dealership did you go to?

i got 6MT with premium package and paid MSRP.

 

I got a decent price at Harte Infiniti (better than any offer I got at dealers in MA), so I bought it there. They were curteous, no hidden charges, they offered (not pushed) some packages which I declined, got a free oil change and that's about it.

I knew what I wanted to buy, so it all came down to price. The best price won my business.

- half of the aero package (rear spoiler but no rear wind deflectors)
- navigation system

Who did you deal with at Harte? I am looking to buy one there as well. What did you pay over invoice?

 

i got mine from devan also.
they were nice as you guys said.

i got an 04 5AT, black on black, everything except for nav. for 33,250
the guy said he would throw on the new 05 19's and i was like hell yea, awesome rim.
