around exit 13a of the turnpike, the laser alert on my 8500 pretty consistently goes off. more often goin northbound than south. i never see a patrol car around though, anyone else experience this???

When I used to travel the NJ Turnpike, my radar detector would go nuts around the airport. Since that area is right next door, maybe something from the airport is causing it?

 

It could be those "ALERT" signs. The laser alert on my V1 goes off whenever I pass under those types of signs. Drive route 3 east towards giants stadium. You will see one of those signs and without fail, my v1 laser alert goes off.
