Get an aftermarket clutch and do the install someplace else. Infiniti charges like $110 for labor

But, that's just my opinion
In that case, does anyone have any recommendations on where to go to get it installed? And is it really worth getting an aftermarket clutch if I am not an aggressive driver and wouldn't need a nice race clutch, etc...?

I've heard lots of good things about DSG (Dent Sport Garage) in Norwood. Don't let the "Dent" part fool you. They build serious race cars.

I see what you're saying, but the statement is a little too generic imo. I don't "know" anyone at Norwood, and they didn't say anything when I asked them to install an aftermarket part for me as an OEM replacement.

Actually, my bro had work done there on his WRX. Definitely nice guys there. I think I will look into having it installed there if the dealership says that its a clutch issue and not the 5th gear synchro.

Now, I guess I need to start looking into what clutch to get. Any recommendations people?

Hahaha. From my quick research, it looks like JWT was the favorite of most G owners.

I just need to find out if this would be a good clutch for someone that doesn't drive their car hard. I don't want to purchase a race clutch or something like that when I don't push my car to the limits. Whoever owned my G before must of drove it hard all the time.

Well, I'm pretty sure JWT comes in stages and each has a different engagement point. Maybe you should see if someone local will be able to let you test theirs out?

Oh ok. That means I would have to take a detour to the service department.
