I'm just hoping you have never wrote someone else a tint ticket. Or hopfully your just kidding around, cause I dont know how you could even see out of 2 layers of limo tint.

A guy quoted me $210 today, but he was talking using some new film, with some metal or something in it...
Maybe thats a little too high.

Tint doesnt necessarily turn purple cause its a low grade tint. its because of all people who go under their mother/girlfriends sink and pulls out the windex with ammoina. NO AMMONIA people! theres an ingredient that discolors window film.
plus.... a good tinter can do this car in under one hour.. no questions asked

I have 20% tint and luckily haven't been pulled over for it. If you have a light interior, you have to go with the darker tint IMO.

I paid $225 at Eastern Glass Tinting in Charlestown, MA. Great place and recommend them to anyone. He has done my old integra, TSX and G. They have also done my friend's cars and my bros.

Under 35% tint

in reply to tint under 35%... dont do it... i had 20% on my last car, and every year it was a pain in the *** to get an inspection sticker.. plus you have to pay the guy off at the garage if he will even do it. state police are cracking down on garage owners so it is really hard to find someone.. i would have ripped off the tint but it cost me 200$ to get it done. on the other hand, i never had any problems with cops checking my tint

I have a sedan and have 35% up front & 20% on the rear & back windows. Never had a problem with inspections until this year. The guy I normally go to told me RMV and cops are definitely cracking down, as someone mentioned above...so he wouldn't pass me...he issued me a rejection sticker, giving me up to 60 days to get it resolved. Took my car to 3 other places & they too wouldn't pass me. Finally found someone thru a friend in Brighton who passed me, no problem, no questions asked & I didn't have to pay him extra. It's the Gulf station on Comm. Ave not too far from Washington Ave. He did, however, give me $hit for not having my front plate on, and made me put it on before giving me a stick . Decided I'd keep it on from now on.

Mine was done for 185 and I've got 15% all around never been pulled over in the 3 years I've had my car. Hard to see out the windows at night though.

I had 15% all around. Got nabbed by the cops twice. I switched it all to legal 35% tint. ITS 35% NET, not just the film but actual light emittance!

And its not just the front driver's side and passenger side, its all the windows...(except for the Windshield which is I believe 85% light emittance).
