I always wash my G myself..... too many bad experiences with the express wash and even the touch free car washes from around our area.
Im sure if you head up to westport, southport, greenwich etc...... you will get better service

I live in Milford.... trying to get a meet going soon.... let me know if u are around on weekends....

I have never once taken my car to a car wash.. only hand washes..
if you like your car, i recomend you do the same.. theres nothing like a little elbow grease to get that floor room shine you car deserves..

Well SJharris it looks like your post was never answered. I live in Danbury area. Hands down the best car wash is Panache located on Mill Plain Rd which is either exit 2 off of 84 or exit 4 depending which way your coming from. The works is like 23 bucks. They take care of your car inside and out, wheels, etc.

I usually fine detail my car myself but as far as it being dirty and dusty and doing the whole thing, i just pay the money and have it done fast.

IMO people are a bit crazy about "who" touches their car. This place does a fine job. My brother has 2007 escalade and thats worth about 2 times as much as the G and he gets it washed there 2-3 times a week. (its a black escalade)

23 bucks for someone to clean your car for you is just plain lazy..... I wash my car myself every other day at a cost of roughly 2bucks/ea time.... inside/and out.... wheels etc (thats 12 washes which is 1 month) (Mothers products)

..... after my car got a ding from a "touchfree" car wash... I vowed never to let some computerized object attempt to clean my car... IMO people are too lax about who touches their car.... especially at those "convenient" car wash places for people "on-the-go" .... I'd bring a minivan through there... thats bout it
