i'm not sticking up for the tuner per se. i just don't want a false impression of what happened people like to take things out of context and point fingers before listening to the facts...for jerome's sake, i'll leave it at that...i don't want to speak for him or about him when he is not on the board

Alright boys , stop fighting

Lots of things could have happened , but no one knows for sure .

I can speculate and guess . But without knowing what his AFR was at the time or anything else it is hard .

Possibilities are endless .

1) Yes, Tune could have changed it has been a year . But if the owner says everything is fine AFR looks good . I can only assume it is good .

2) Other mods have been done to the car after the turbo and tune that could have effected the tune partially

3) 400whp and 420ftlb is alot of power on the stock block that was getting lots of revs that day in the lower gears . No two engines are created equal , could have just been its time and it gave up . 1st one for us on stock internals to go ....

4) I have had a J&S safegaurd here for 6 months for Jerome's car . Never came for it . I never took a deposit either . Still here for Jerome and will be going in the new car .

5) Who says it was not mishifted ?? One can only speculate . But it belongs in the list of possibilities

6) I did not swap his turbo for him after the repair , so I can say if anything was different

7).............

8).........

and on and on .

Fact is Jerome called me when it happened just to warn me of all the hearsay I might hear , as it seems lots of people like to name drop and toss peoples names around , and assume things . If I hear that a customer might be unhappy , I call them to see what's wrong . I have never had any of them call me . But the funny thing is every time I ask them if there is a problem or that a certain person has been speaking for them and I wanted to here it for myself , most have no clue what I am talking about and are upset . Fact is Jerome , Kev , Rob , Mike ,myself are all over 30 , some even older . We dont need to BS to make friends or entertain others . We also dont need the Drama in our lives , so I dont understand why people put so much effort in saying things without facts . But I guess that the internet for ya ......

Oh well , I have met alot of ya , and all seem like great guys and I look forward to meeting more of you . I dont feel I need to bash other shops to boost my rep or to gain biz. I am friends with most of my competing shops and have even sent them biz if I have no time for it or feel they can better take care of the customer . I am here if needed and can speak for myself .

Yes we are going to Build Jerome a new Beast but it is not up to me to say what he is doing as that is his surprise to unveil when the time comes .....

Stay tuned for the next episode of G drama .... Only here on G35Driver.com

thanks for the update, scott! we were all a bit curious about what happened, since we were right there when it did...

i spoke to you on the phone about my procharger install. after hearing your recommendations and seeing jerome's blown engine, i decided to get the j&s ultrasafeguard... should be here by the end of the week. like i said, once i get all my parts delivered, i'll bring the car up to you

J&S detects knock and retards timing accordingly faster than anything out on the market...it's so fast, it'll retart timing before knock even occurs
