I'm 22, Potomac, MD... work in Bethesda. Just bought my '04 Diamond Graphite Metallic 6MT Coupe July 31 w/ 38,200 miles (now just under 39,500).

Anyone familiar with Skyline Motor Cars in Fairfax, VA? If you are, stay the hell away from them. Lying scumbags. That's where I bought my G and I'm still involved in a financial dispute with them over several things ($2500 issue for a warranty they claimed was pro-rated and isn't at all, so if I sell my car soon I'm SOL... $312 for Brembo pads and install, because they installed non-Brembos when the agreement was Brembo pads, although they covered parts not labor 'cuz the pads were so low they didn't pass MD inspection when I when I bought the car and they promised Brembo pads, and $100 for flawed window tinting). Luckily $3000 of the purchase was on Amex so it's in the dispute resolution stages so I hope they get completely screwed. I'm broke for now and I'm dying to mod my G more but can't 'til I get some money back from them.

I usually go out in Nova (Clarendon, Ballston for Wed happy hour), Gtown or Adams Morgan. Hit me up if you're looking to cruise sometime.

Also, I'm looking for some 19" 5-spoke rims similar to Racing Hart RS 721, Volk TE37, etc. Anyone selling or know of a good place to buy?

I can certainly *not* recommend Jim Coleman Infiniti in Bethesda. Had horrible, horrible dealings with them back in December.

I really like the people at Passport Nissan/Infiniti (Alexandria) where I bought my wifes FX and where we've both gone for service. I take my car to Infiniti of Chantilly and they have an excellent service department there. Would highly recommend either but cant stress enough the lousy experience I had at Jim Coleman.

In my humble opinion Infiniti of Chantilly is the place to go. I received a great deal on my 07 G35S and their incentives, like lifetime oil change, lifetime car wash, free maintenence through 35,000 miles, free park and shuttle to Dulles and more is a gem. I dealt with Paul Ballard pballard@infinitiofchantilly.com

Ditto on infiniti of chantilly. The 500 club is the package that they offer for free with every new car purchased. Can't beat that. My sales guy was Dan, nicest guy ever, no BS during the negotiations.

Not trying to make this thread into a sales pitch, but ANY potential new Infiniti owners should really give Chantilly a good look before buying anywhere else. Granted they are paying so far, but the service department has been top flight as well as the car washes.
