Worst tint shop in MD

Whatever you do, stay away from Winner's Window Tint in MD. They used a heat gun that burned my door panel and tried to cover it up using a black magic marker. They refuse to fix it properly, so I have to take them to court. Take my word for it, they're the WORST tinting shop in MD.

Sorry to hear about that doc. Make sure you hang their asses out to dry in front of the judge. Don't forget to have pictures.

I'm planing oon removing the door panel to bring it to court. That way I don't have to worry about the pictures not truly representing the damage. The car had like 500 miles at the time, so it was still in perfect condition. Do you think I should take pictures of the "good" side?

do u have ne pictures of the panel that was damaged before the work was done?? its hard to get money out of cases like these from what i hear. if u remove the panel yourself the other party will accuse you of being the one that damaged the panel.

They've already taken responsibliity for the damage, it's just that they don't want to pay for a new door panel. I told them that it only comes as one piece, and that the car was brand new. Anyways, I have it in writing that they accept responsibility. Just do yourselves a favor, stay away from there.

how much is a new door panel?? if it comes down to it then meet them halfway on the price so that way u dont have to go thru all of the hassels that a morning in court will do your day.

I'm not paying one dollar. They messed it up, they tried to cover it up with a marker, so they're gonna pay for a new panel.

Why not remove the good side and take both panels to court with you?

Do you think I should? I was planning on just taking pictures of the good side for comparison. The damage is obvious. By the way, how long does it take to remove the panel?

I don't know how long it takes to take it off, but there is a tool that you use to pop the rivets off that hold the panel to the door. if you dont use the tool, it will break the rivets, and your panel will forever rattle. i don't know about the g35, but i took off the panel on my old car without the tool and regretted it.

Re: Worst tint shop in MD

most imported cars dont use rivets in the door panels. just about all gm and some fords still use rivets. not to sure about the g coupe tho. if there are rivets then ur gonna need a power drill and the rivet gun.

Re: Worst tint shop in MD

There's a thread that says all I need is a couple of screwdrivers. I'll try taking pictures first. If they come out ok, I'll keep the door panel on. BTW, they should be getting served with the lawsit papers any day now. I wish i could see the look on their face. I'll get to see it in court though.
