This morning (2/7th) I was on my way to get on the 95 northbound where I bumped into this bran new (car was plateless - had temporary dealer sticker in the window) DG 6MT coupe with Aero in the light right before the on ramp - I honked my horn, I think you saw me, you then passed by me, as I was getting off in Norwalk (exit 13), I think you gave me a wave. Just saw a DP coupe today in Norwalk right near my condo.

Hey speed - do you know of a place near us that does any after market mods? I think I'm going to go to Boomer's for stereo upgrades, but i don't know of any tuners in the area...

 

I was actually in Norwalk today. Got there at 9am and left around noon. Actually mine is DG so it wasn't me...
As far tuners go, I have no idea. All I have is a grounding kit which I installed, and a Z tube + JWT Pop Charger on order which I'm planning on installing on my own as well.

BTW, where is your condo located at? I was in the NCC area

Once I get mine we should try to get together. I'm such a mechanic rookie that I'm considering having the dealership load my CDs in for me. =) Anything like an engine mod I'd want to at least get some input from someone that's done it that I can talk to face to face.

I live off exit 2 on the Rt. 7 connector. About 1/4 mile from the big Dunkin Donuts. Hopfully I'll be in my G by mid March.

Getting together sounds great, maybe we can meet couple more people if we find them....
I'm not a big Joe mechanic myself, but certain mods are just so easy it's ridiculous. If you decide to mod you car with plain stuff I'll be more than happy to try and help you.
As far as tuning shops in the area go... I'm not familiar with any, but I know of one good place. It's a bit of a drive though. The place called "XX Tuning" and it's up in Wethersfield (by Hartford). Great place to have an Exhaust or any other performance mods installed. Let me know if you need more information regarding this place.

You should come down with us to the big northeast meet in April. We can even meet at the Exit 10 rest area caravan pick up point and ride down to Jersey along with the other guys.

Hey speed! I think I saw you yesterday in Stamford, under the railroad overpass near the 95 entrance for exit 8, around 5:30. You had a passenger and a very shiny DG coupe. Looks great, even after such a short glimpse.

Of course, if it wasn't you, then there is another DG coupe in the area.

 

Nope, wasn't me.... didn't have any passengers with me yesterday. But I think I know who you saw.
There is another DG coupe in town here, you can easily recognize him by his Extreme white bulbs in his clear corners.
I see him from time to time in the mornings on my way to work and so we race each others like maniacs on the on-ramp...[img]/w3timages/icons/cool.gif[/img]
I have re-badged my coupe, and considering a slim number of coupes in the area, if you see another 6MT DG coupe with Skyline and 350GT emblems, w/ clear corners, and no spoiler, most chances are... that it's me....

Man, I'm seeing coupes everywhere! One was on Rt 1 near the new best buy (Aero). Then I went out that night and saw two more DG coupes (no aero). Saw a black on the way home last night, and two 4-drs this morning on my way in.

I really wanted DG for mine, but now I'm thinking I may want BS to be different from everyone else in the area. =b

 

What you see it probably coincidental. I see a coupe maybe once a week, and a sedan 2-3 times a week...
