This isn't anything new.........!

Having grow up on Van Nuys Blvd and having received more than my share of
violations checking for lowered cars isn't new. They used to measure with a
pack of smokes between the frame and ground. I even got a ticket for my
front license plate being too low. So I went to court with pic of several
cars and how low their plates were......case throw out! Back then it was
always something and the 27 violations I received from the day I turned 16
until I went in the service at 19 proves it. A kid with a nice car didn't stand
a chance, a problem that still exists today!

It's quite funny though how it is always the import tuners that get the $hit end of the stick and not the American muscle tuners. You hear suped up Mustangs and Cameros with beefed up suspension and exhaust roar by and they never get harrassed. I mean come on how many Mustangs and Corvettes do you see pulled over?

I remeber your Honda Civic Days.....lol

as long as there is a white guy in that corvette, then yeah.

Sure...I'm only dropped an inch

FWIW, you will be hard pressed to find anything other than a Honda dropped more than 2 inches....2 inches is a LOT and is downright foolish!

+1 for driving behind slammed cars being dangerous...i've had so many people tell me how much they hate driving behind slammed hondas that weave all over the road to avoid potholes because they never know which direction they'll go next.

That's why I'm done with the 20's and stretched tires crap...time for some 19s and 35 series tires in the rear

^Stretched tires are just as bad as being slammed...lol. I mean even for those that arent super low we still tried to avoid the road hadzards for fear of cracking a lip of scuffing a rim.
