Hi gang,
Since I'm the contact for Atco but won't be around for the meet, due to a race schedule conflict, I was hoping that someone fairly close to the track could take over as being the contact (the "go-to" guy) for this meet.
It would be easy if we could have just one person answering to the track so we can keep it organized.
Anyone?

I can try and help, but I'm not that close to Atco. I'm probably a good 1:45 minutes drive from there.
I think some of the guys here are more involved in all the raffles and what has been going on lately.
If no one jumps, let me know and I'll try to do my best.

JD I would love to help but I'm in Vermont. I'll have Gerald get in touch with Westbury Nissan and see if they want to take the lead. They will be the major sponsor for the event so maybe they can be the contact point also. My only concern is I would rather not have a dealership calling the shots for us.

I live 35 minutes from atco, what would need to be done exactly?

 

Will,
pretty much just be the contact for the group with the track management. You'll be the go-to guy for any emergencies, such as medical if someone stumbles in the paddock and needs a band-aid you see that they get to the firstaid station, or to translate track announcements over the PA being set-up for our group by......I can't remember who but someone in our group. If the track says "that guy is acting like an ***" you give him a cool down talking to.
It sounds like more than it is, just need to be a Dad, not a strict one, a Tommy Chong kinda Dad. Plus you participate as usual, show/race/etc... just need a guy to be the contact.
