is that what your kind of meet is like?
Yep, but no gaurantees that we'd be any better at it than you! Though at least you'd get 5 people standing around with different ideas on how to try it. Somebody is pretty much always willing to give a hand.

Typical meet. Starts at 11, most everybody rolls in by noon. One or more of the club members has the lift reserved for a bolt-on mod, brake pad or rotor swap, greasing their suspension, oil change, etc... If its a nicer day out, at some point, 2,3,4,5 people will have washed their car. Everybody else, just hangs out and chills. If people are hungry, we throw in some cash and get food to BBQ. People start heading out between 3-5 and everybody is gone between 5-6 unless there's a bigger project somebody is doing on the lift.

Generally, 10-15 people show up to every meet.

I'm from Union County, just got my G yesterday. I'm also looking to meet up with people from Jersey. I want to do some mods to my car, but no idea where to start.

You should head on down if you have time on a Sunday we meet. We have a couple guys who are members of our group who live up your way. Takes maybe an hour if traffic is good. Combined, we have a lot of experience with different mods so we can give you some advice depending on what you want to do and you can see them in person.

damn haha. im away from the comp for an hour and this thread gets a little kickstart. thanks for answering the questions Sean.

Just to add what he said;

To Eagles: Guests are always welcome. Especially those interested in cars and more specifically in the G35 or 350Z. What better place to start than a car meet. So please, come on by.

Spitfire: We have plenty of people with different degrees of knowledge and I can say that any questions you have we can almost positively answer. The drive down is about an hour as Sean said but I think it would be well worth your while. If you have time, dont hesitate to stop by.

Hey, thanks man. My dad is really big in cars, has a full working garage. But I would like to learn from people who know how to work on the specific car. Which is my favorite, G35. Ill look when you meet next and I will most deffinately swing by. Hate learning in school but love learning about cars. Im 16 and I hear get the G from my dad and NO from my mom. Ohh boy, can't wait to see how this turns out(I think me and my dad will win the argument as we already started looking for a G ). Love whn people tell me I won't respect it since I'm young but I have a great respect for cars as it is.
Thanks guys!

Sorry but also, are you guys like a mechanic shop or just a meeting shop type garage?
Thanks!

Well we meet this Sunday so your more than welcome to come out. I know the situation your in all too well haha. I was in the exact same one not too long ago. Thankfully I won . Best of luck to you!

Our shop is not a mechanic shop. The only work we do is on our members cars. We take pride in having the knowledge and know how to do everything ourselves.
