i saw on the the other thread "How many g drivers in nj/ny" and saw quite a few people were from the area.

anyone from NJ down to meet up? jersey's not that big, i'd say maybe 3 hrs distance. maybe we can find a center spot so people only have to drive 1 hr MAX to reach a destination.

anyone down? recommend any places to meet up?

i recommend edgewater =) theres this little strip mall there that seems like its closing down. should be perfect for us =) its a troop for me but im willing to do it if others will show up.

edgewater park is like 30 minutes from our shop. edgewater is a little farther up there lol. but we have guys from NY that come on a regular basis

There is usually 2 that are definately there. Me and helldorado. We have 3 or 4 others in our club but depending on work schedules and other factors they arnt able to attend on a regular basis. I can give you a more definate answer when it gets closer to Sunday. You should come join us.

Project: Forward Motion is located in South Jersey. West Berlin to be exact. We have members from NJ, PA, NY, DE, VA, and MD. We are a little different than most clubs in that we have a lift and all the resources to do anything you could possibly want to do to your car. On a side note, for skochur, we have a confirmed 4 G's showing up on Sunday. We might have a few more as we get closer. All in all there are a good 10-15 confirmed to show up and there are always those who like to wander over to check us out.

 

What part of the island are you? I have family that lives in Ship Bottom. You should definitely hit up one of our PFM club meets. We're all about DIY and knowledge sharing more than parking lot meets. We still do cruises and hit events and shows, but our bi-weekly meet is shop focused. If you want to learn about the car, somebody's is on the lift just about every meet.

As Chase said, we're a mix of Z's and G's, even though he and I are the 2 primary G guys there and we have some other folks who show up time to time. But since they share 90% of the drivetrain components, every body knows a bit about something. The only real vehicle specific stuff we talk about is the interior and exterior appearance stuff.

 

hmm so if i were to bring my overlays and bulbs, would you guys be able to help me out and install them? =)

That is exactly what our meets are like actually. I cant think of one meet where someone hasnt been doing something to there car. Whether its an exhaust install or sway bars or intake or just fine tuning suspension. If somebody doesnt know what they are doing we all pitch in and figure it out. We can get the job done
