Atco and AC

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up, a couple guys from PFM are going to head over to Atco Raceway tomorrow morning between 10 and 11 if anyone wants to join us. Were just going to get afew runs in. I want to get a base time for my car.

We will also be heading down to Atlantic City tomorrow night. We are planning on leaving our shop around 3ish. The shop is literally 15 minutes from Atco Raceway. Again, if anyone wants to join us your more then welcome. We will be heading to the Hooters at the Tropicana Hotel and Casino.

Any questions just ask
Thanks,
Chase

Well I got 2 runs in at Atco today. The first one was absolutely horrid because i have never been drag racing before and I screwed everything up. The second run I ran a 14.4. Im stock other than a stillen intake and z tube and FI HFC's. I think its a decent start.

Oh yea and Hooters was well...its Hooters

Heres my slip:
Im in the right lane

As I said earlier the only performance mods I have are a Stillen Intake/Z tube and FI metallic HFC's. I also lowered my rear air pressure to 26 psi. I was on the stock 19's with KDW tires. The temp. was between 40-45 degrees.

I think there were maybe 2 or 3 other imports there other than the 4 of us who showed up. Tons of Mustangs, the quick 8 guys were making some runs and some other fast vehicles. Lot of LSx powered vehicles too. I'd say more people there were on drags and slicks than street tires. When I did my second run, I faced against a 12 second 2005 GTO.

Yea, they are a lot of Mustangs at Atco. The first time I went there I ran against 3 of them. How did everyone else to?

This was my best run of the 2. First was a 14.4 in full auto.

This was our friend Rob who has a stock 07 Z. He had a lot of wheelspin off his launch.

Code:
R/T 0.956
60' 2.529
330' 6.326
1/8 9.387
MPH 80.73
1000' 11.986
1/4 14.188
MPH 102.91
Our other friend, Doc. He has a 60's Beetle with a cool coupe body conversion. It ran a 20 sec 1/4.

Not bad Sean, it's not too far from 13's.

I was running against some small black pickup truck

If my tires hooked and my RT was a little better it would have been really close

Yeah, I think if I didn't mis-shift into second so it pulled timing, I would've been at 14.1-14.2. Its a pretty hard bog in 1st when it pulls timing as you hit redline.

I'm still on stock cats too. That's my biggest restriction right now. Finish up my exhaust mods and a clean run should put me right under 14.0.
