I don't know of any shops in CT that will do a DD but if you want to come up to Boston I'd be glad to help you out and do it.

I have a Kenwood 8017 DVD unit. It really isnt that hard to install. If you want I can see if I have the DYI instructions and email them to you.

Starlander-Beck in Milford. Ask for Kevin, he drives a turbo'd white 350z.

or

Jo-Di's in Orange. Ask for Doug.

Good luck

so all those wires are just for safety? i purchased this from tony from riverside which came out of the 05 sedan i think, would you know if the harness is the same as an 03 coupe, did you keep your dual climate control and steering wheel controls?

I have the avn6610 in my g35, the harness is probably different.

And you lose dual climate with a double din kit, as well as steering wheel controls.

^+1. You haev to solder the dual climate control button onto the new climate control and if you want to keep your OEM steering wheel controls you will need the PAC AAI-NIS2 (http://www.autotoys.com/x/catalog/ST...Y_I_p_596.html)

hey guys... i want to install a d3 in my 06 coupe. i was told by a local audio shop the cost would be about 1700 for the unit, kit, etc, and install. is that worth it? how much more would i be looking at paying to add bluetooth and backup camera? is that too much? it sounds like it is alot.
