Can't wait for ATCO

Driving home last night I settled in behind another Black Sedan. Then about a mile down the road a silver coupe works its way up behind me. 3 G's rolling up 287 in rush hour, looked very sweet.

I can't wait to see whole line of us out of the rest stop on the way to ATCO.

I can't wait either. Followed a black coupe home the other night on the locals. This is my first meet of any kind. Besides racing what goes on?

usually just BSing with other drivers and drooling on the hotter rides. If anyone shows with a TT setup, you will see a huge crowd staring.

Re: Can't wait for ATCO

I can't wait either. There will be a TT G35 there as well as a bunch of supercharged G's and Z's and 2 right hand drive Skyline GT-R's.

As far as what will be going on. We will be doing some racing, the NJ chapter of the SCCA will be holding an autoX event in the parking lot Sunday morning, we will have a charity raffle and give some stuff away, and we will hopefully be having some cruises.

Re: Can't wait for ATCO

Actually the South Jersey Region SCCA, www.sjr-scca.org , will be holding a regular Autocross on the lot to the left of the dragstrip.
The event is a regularly scheduled SCCA points meet for their regular competitors and will be an all day affair.
Those of you close by may want to show up no later than 9am and pay $30 bucks to get in some runs in the morning. 1st car off is right after the 9:30am drivers meeting and they do 4 runs per group in the morning session. There are 2 groups, either odd/even or 1-50 and 50-100, etc., and they do 4 runs in the morning and 4 in the afternoon.
So if you get there early you could get 4 runs in before heading over to the other side for the G35 meet.
If there is enough interest I can arrange it so the G35 folks can run 1st thing in the morning so you won't miss out on the meet.
Depending on how many cars show we usually get in 4 runs in our first session, if over 80 cars total the number might get pushed back to 3 runs for a total of 6 on the day.
But $30 is a small price to pay for someone else setting up the course and timing your runs and chasing the cones you run over

You South Jersey area people are welcome to come to any South Jersey Region event as you need not be a member to join in the fun. We'd like to see sportscar lovers become members of the club while they master their driving technique but it is not neccessary.
