It depends what town you are driving through. In a town like Tenafly where nothing happens you can get a ticket for having a plastic license plate holder that the dealerships put on the cars like my brother.

 

If I'm rolling around with my car unwashed with my winter rims on, I've never gotten harassed.

However, if I've got my big lipped rims on and I've detailed the car, I get pulled over in about 5...4...3...2...1. BLoop! BLOOOOOP!!! It also doesn't help that my car is CB. Emerson and Oradell are the worst. Driven through those town 5 times... been pulled over 5 times. Even got pulled over and ticketed on my way back from just paying a no plate ticket.

 

Where are you from? I drive through Emerson and Oradell all the time with no problem. I do have a an 8500 too so that helps me detect all the cops driving around with their radars on.

 

I've got a V1, but I've never been pulled over by a stationary cop. They are always going the other way and always bust a U-Turn just to pull me over for no plate. I live in New Milford. But Diamond Graphite is a lot more "stealth" than Carib Blue. I try to avoid those towns like the plague.
