Central Jersey Area for inspection...

Do you need high beams in order to pass inspection? I got aftermarket HID's in the heads and fogs and just wondering if I need high beams being that the new lights don't have them. Thanks

I just went this past Oct., and they did check the operation of my High beams. I don't know if they will fail you for it. I think as long as your low beams function, you may pass.

alright thanks man. when you hit the high beam switch my lights just turn off so hopefully they won't factor it in.

If you bring it to a state-owned station, you will most likely fail immediately for that.

Find a friendly place, and you should be ok.
