The first OFFICIAL Capital G Club drive will be this Sunday, March 28th!!! As of right now the weather is looking good. Partly cloudy, 20% chance of rain, and a balmy 62 degrees F. We look forward to seeing you all out. If you are planning on coming or are interested in coming, please let me know, even if you won't know till Saturday night at midnight, if you think you can come, let me know. If you are unable to make this Sunday, take heart, we are working on a drive in early April as well. We are going to start making drives a monthly event so keep your weekends open...if you can. We will be meeting at the U.S. Bowling Alley on South Pickett Street just down from the dealership, this is because if we have 10 or more cars, the dealership is NOT the ideal place. If you've ever been to Passport you know what I mean. We will be meeting at 8:30AM on Sunday and rolling out promptly at 9:00AM sharp! From there we will head out to Skyline Drive. It's a great ride and the mountain has some really nice twisties, time to test out those new Hotchkis Sway bars (assuming you have yours). We will probably stop for lunch after we hit Skyline, probably around 1 or 2. We'll have to play it by ear. Expect to finish around 5:00PM. Some things to consider bringing:

-Maps, for you Nav less G drivers out there, like me... :-(
-Walkie Talkies, I will be bringing a pair
-Bottled water
-Camera

Maps of Skyline Drive itself should be provided. If there are any questions about the drive, feel free to contact Chris or myself. On the morning of you can call me. I'll be up at the crack of 7AM since I'm coming down from Baltimore. For those of you who are on the way to Skyline Drive, please e-mail me back and we'll try to setup somewhere to meet.

 

Good job telling us what region it is. By Skyline drive I hope you mean Skyline drive in ringwood NJ. Too bad I can't make Sunday. Have one on Saturday!

Nope. Capitol G club as in Washington D.C. Capitol region. It is the Skyline drive in Virginia.

I know it goes in the regional forum...that's why I posted it there too! It's just that the main forum gets so many more views than the regional forum and I wanted to let people know who didn't know about the Club is all.
