Massachusetts License Revocation
I'm posting this for a friend of mine who got 3 speeding tickets this year and is getting his license revoked. Catch is, he's from California and is here as a student, so he still has a California license and registration.
He missed two appeals because he was in LA and forgot to reschedule and the last ticket, he took a reduced fine in. He didn't know that 3 tickets would equal to a revocation.
Can the Mass DMV even suspend an Out of state license like that? Is there anything he can do?

Sounds like your friend is screwed here for driving in the state of Massachusetts. If he has a California license and thats what the ticket was reported on he may be revoked here only. The easiest way for him to find out is to just call the RMV in Cali and ask them. I'm not to sure how revocations on out of state licenses work here but if it's Massachusetts license then I could answer more in depth.

Any one know if Mass follows the Driver's License Compact? Like if I get a ticket here in Mass but I live in Jersey, my home state will never find out.

Yeah right...I wish. Massachusetts driving laws are one of the most **** in the country. My license was suspended and I had a ticket from 3 years ago in NH which I never paid. When it was time to reinstate my license I had to pay everything including to tickets from years ago in other states.

I have a NJ license. Does that mean that NJ will find out about the speeding ticket I got here?
I had a to go to court in NJ in January and when I was talking to the prosecutor he was like "Since this is your first offense, I'll let you go easy", I assumed that it didn't show up on my record. The ticket I got in Mass was from last spring and I went to court in September for it.
This **** is confusing
