dude.. the Volk lips are anodized.. which means they use a chemical reaction to make that shiney look on your wheel... When you used the rim clean.. you changed the base of the finish which made it have that weird watermarking effect..

You need to have them polished down to the polished look.. which will be a pita to upkeep.. but you can atleast use rim cleaner and polish on them.

I figured you would learned after reading all the horror stories bout the Volk lips being ****.. Only use carwash soap on those lips.. claybar to take any crap off the lip.

 

i'll be in Boston next Thursday morning. so I'll be up there next week for the car wash meet. gonna miss import wars

 

Best wheel cleaner i've ever seen and it only took 2 minutes...

DAng just detail the F%ck out of my rims and washed my car and it pours...good thing i made it to work and parked it before it rained...so all i have to do is wipe it down.. hehe
