octoberfest car show at inskip

I was in contact with tom today and we both were happy with the turn out and the croud was very cool considering the rain kinda messed things up . this was my first show and learned a great deal from it thanks to everyone who attended .

now this is a feeler to see who would be in favor of a show in october to kinda end the year .

now the ideas im working on is a live band ,witch happens to be my painter at the shop and dont worry its mostly rock and some covers as well as food again , as well as a better plan for parking so were are going to reserve certain areas to specific models so we dont have to move cars around that took some time . the date will be arranged next week if everything goes as planned . im also looking into having a lowrider hydraulic contest as well at the show any ideas are welcome thanks everyone

Count me in. The show was better than what I thought. I've attended quiet a few shows at dealers and the turnouts were no where near as great as this one. What I really thought was cool was that you had open catergories for a lot of other makes/models on that. Hopefully this time around we will be able to get more of the public involved as well.

I enjoyed myself at the show as well. Count me in too. Hopefully I'll have more done to my car by then...

I liked the way it was setup and planned. Very organized and those that showed up were very nice to be around

Count me in as well!

Matt...just an idea but if we could get other sponsors for the show and plug their business on the site and at the show and see if they could donate stuff and we could have a raffel for prizes.

maybe like an auto parts store to donate some car cleaning products, case of oil etc.etc.

I could talk to my buddy Scott he owns a Pool Store and I'm sure he would donate pool supplies.

I know local restaurants would donate gift cards

I could even see if my bother in law would donate a windshield for my work

just a thought...but let me know either way.

I should be around this time, unless its on the weekend that I'm going down to NJ for a track day...I think its Oct. 11th weekend...so don't choose that one.

Everyone had a great time at the show, ide like to see our team work with more sponsors going forward to promote growth. A DJ and maybee even a bikini contest would be cool
- all in all this was a great success and just the begining of things to come.

thats a good idea but i dont want to turn it into a nopi type show It seems the focus shifts from cars to girls and i personaly want to get a bigger turn out of all ages ,inskip is a very profesional dealer and i think that a bikini contest would lower the class of the show as well as take the family atraction out of it my whole point is to get family involved and bring new people into the world of classy sportscars

great show... and raffles would definitely be cool. say, for example, a set of those AP Racing brakes from Inskip :-)
