Welcome to the boards. Don't here/see to many NH members with the acception of RPhillips on the boards. Check out the North East section for some of the local meets.

I recently hired a new kid onto my team and I'm sure he remembers one particular portion of his interview.

He has no experience... he's fresh out of college. His resume has nothing good on it, but I was given a chance a long time ago and I felt it was time to pay it forward and offer this same chance to someone else.

His resume is a bunch of nothing.... ya know, a paper route, "retail experience", etc.
At the bottom was a list of his skills, and at the top of this list was "Microsoft Office"
I asked him, "so, you have experience with MS Office?" and he says "Yes, I'm very good with it."
I then asked him, "Would you be able to tell me what the 'F7' button does" and he said, "Um, uh, well, not off the top of my head"

I said "It's spell check.... you spelled 'skills' wrong"

He had it on his resume as 'skils'.... you should have seen his face... classic.

He's turned out to be an okay kid and I'm happy I gave him the chance.
I'm sure he knows what F7 is now.

Ya know, Framingham, MA is only 35 miles from Salem, NH.
You should come out tomorrow night... it's been a great meet in the past.
