It's the pics.
It looks lighter than I wished it would from some angles and in some light, and then it looks fantastic in other conditions.
I like how reflective the ceramic is. It causes the windows to almost take on the color of the car. It's hard to explain unless you see it in person, but I love it
I waited a whole year until I was able to find a shop to install this stuff... and it was worth the wait.
Expensive though. $450!

Yeah expensive stuff but worth it.
I actually had a car tinted locally 11 years ago. To this day it has not faded or changed color so i went back to the same place. They did my other car slightly lighter but i forget what % film they used. They did an awesome job on my G35. The cuts are perfect and they did a perfect job with the back window. It was only $190 but if it lasts 10+ years like my other car has it will be worth it.
I just wish it was slightly lighter. I need to find a place to toss a meter on it and see the actual % number though.
I find myself driving with the sunroof shade open and the NAV unit popped up and on in an attempt to brighten up the interior now...esp at night. Thankfully i have stone interior, which does help.
Maybe i'm just being paranoid?
Here is a cloudy day/snow pic of it
