You guys/gals wanna hear something funny. After reading everyones comments on that it was not a good deal and i mind you it was from the same dealer I bought my "new" 99 G20t back in august of 99; i did some research on the forum and net Monday evening. I emailed a couple of ny dealers, then sure enough on Tues afternoon Atlantic Infiniti called, Mike Weitz (internet manager). I told him my situation on my G20t trade in and how low they wanted to give me and the supposely deal for the 04 G35 coupe fully loaded. He laughed did some research called me a couple of more times with some stats and sure enough i met with him last nite and ordered the vehicle. Great deal, great trade in. Weitz for Mayor! So this story goes to show you that u really have to shop around. I also forgot to mention he gave me a couple of tips for loans (i am finacing) and his cell & home telephone numbers. JOB WELL DONE!

Now I want Ivory Pearl but he has a Black that i can take home this weekend. WHAT DO I DO?????

When I got my coupe (from Atlantic) they tried to sell me this other red one...(without black interior, 17's and no premium pkg ..2004 model)
saying oh but this is a 2004..that one is a 2003....I was like "look dude.....2003 or not its sittin on the floor with 5 miles on it....Its just as new as that 04...and its EXACTLY What i want(performance package w/ LSD, black int, premium pkg..etc).....now slap some spash gaurds on it cause thats all its missin that I want...and write it up....and keep that other one for somebody else....

GET EXACTLY WHAT U WANT JOEY!!!!!!

He is right though, get what you want. If they don't have your car today, they'll have it tomorrow. Personally, I think diamong graphite is the only choice as far as colors go, but then I'm biased!

When you said the salsman gave you a great deal, just exactly what numbers are you talking about? I got mine at Cirlcle Infiniti for $100 over invoice after searching all over internet and bought at a month's end when dealers are willing to give in due to the sales quotas. What are your numbers?

I was into my dealer recently, they replaced the radio head. The sales ppls said they are now selling at sticker cause they can't get G coupes. It gets down to a supply and demand thingy. If the demand is there and the supply is not, well you know the story. Isn't america a great country.

Personally I wouldn't buy a car this time of the year not unless it was deeply discounted. You are buying a year old car, not unless you are gonna keep it for five years or more. Won't the '05's be on the ground in a few months?

Also what Blitz said bout a black. True, True, my TB gets dirty before I turn the hose off.

Don't settle, get what you want. Do it like BK, have it your way.

Obvious answer is wait for the Ivory Pearl...I did and it was worth the extra wait...Not to mention the coupe owner I pulled up next to, the day I bought my car...His was black and he pulled down his window and said "damn that color is hot, I should have gotten it, I'm trading this thing in" powerful words from the mouth of another owner...Personally I like both, black was my second choice...But IP is the rarest in my area, so I went with it..Goodluck with your decision

 

i was on the fence btwn IP and BS - BS was there ready to go so i went with it. Before i went to the dealership i said to myself "whichever car they have/can get quicker is the color im meant to have" that was because i was on the fence with both colors couldnt decide at all.

Go for the color u want - i was first offered black - i firmly said no and told them to look for my color - i am glad i did - it took 5 days longer to get the car =)

got mine from Kings Infiniti - i know a lot of people hate them - but they were good to me

You can go with Balzac and Blitz and look just like them....
and all the other Silver variety

Or go with Ivory....and roll with them....

Yeah, it's tough to keep black clean, but when it is....the whole minute it stays clean is awesome!!!!!

 

totally agree with u diesel.... for the half a second right after you finished waxing for 5 hours its the nicest color of them all. im out there almost everyday doin keepin my black coupe as nice as i could

when i bought my g, i orig checked out ray catena, they wouldn't budge on price. called douglas and they hinted they would. this was back in june 03, demand was raging for coupes, especially MT's.

two day later, back at catena, again no budge. called douglas next day, made a deal on the phone. at the time, i was one of the select few to get $ off sticker.

my experience with douglas was top notch, from start to end.

when you're buying a car, and a nice one at that, you should be treated at a certain standard. if the dealer won't treat you super nice then, go to different dealer.

I think everyone is going to step up for the color they picked because well....thats why they bought it....

I personally have a black car also...and know the whoa's of black paint.....HOwever,

I think there isnt a best color its just the color we all preferred...
