Performance shops in NJ

Just curious as to where people take their cars to now for most stuff. I'm in the colts neck/howell area (monmouth county). I have a friend who owns a shop that does mostly suspension/wheel related stuff, but no real engine work, exhaust mods, etc etc. Just curious

You might think about joining or forming a group of enthusiasts in your area. When my son's first got there Z's and G's, they had no clue. Being a part of a group has its advantages and have taught them how to handle ALL aspects of their mods.
Just a thought.
It may also help you to post the types of mods you are interested in and someone may jump on close to you that can help you do it.
I am making one assumption, and that is you are interested in doing it yourself. Otherwise, in my mind, just buy a car that doesn't require mods.

I was wondering about places similar to MRC when they were um, yanno. Just an all around shop that can handle pretty much everything including tuning, FI, and such. I'm lightly modded (wheels, suspension, exhaust, intake) and not looking to do anything at the moment. However I've been debating about keeping the car or not, so I figured a good somewhat local shop may help me make a decision.
