I just pulled up Porter cable on Amazon and its saying 122.00 new. They have a deal for the pad and sander with the porter cable for 158.00. I dont know if this is the porter cable you bought tho.

Yeah, you're right. I ordered this thing 2 weeks ago and Max Tool dragged their feet on delivery. It's also review time at work and I have 3 days left to write and deliver 19 performance reviews... my brain is mush.

The machine is $122- (more if you order it in a kit with pads)
I bought pads, bonnets, a hook and loop backing pad, Klausse products... It added up quick.

Once you add in pads and product, it comes to around $300-

My company is very performance driven and they offer points for exceeding quota. These points can be cashed in at a ton of places, but I chose Amazon, since you an buy anything from crack to babies there.
Basically, I bought the thing for free. Cant beat that.
I'd say that is the deal of the century!

Hey if you need a test G35 to practice buffing...you know who to call

I wish I only had 2 doors to worry about (not saying a wish I had a coupe). Im thinking next sunday if its nice ill be able to redo a repair that was under my rocker cover/sill plate. They hacked it up and undercoated it, hope its not that bad under it. Im sure ill have to stud weld here and there.

Sunday was nice.
I got the screens washed and installed, put the snow blower away, pressure washed the deck, brought out the patio furniture, cleaned up the front shrub beds, fired up the sprinkler system, and aerated the lawn.

Oh, I got the summer wheels and tires on near sundown too.
I'm taking a few days off next week to polish the car. I have no time on the weekends

Hope to have time to do a full detail and install the new cabin filter. Was hoping to toss in a new Gen 3 intake as well, but the wife put a c-clamp vise grip on my wallet for the next few weeks.
I guess a drop is out for this month

I finally got around to pulling out the new Porter Cable.
Put on a coat of Klasse All in One and followed that with Klasse High Gloss Sealant Glaze.
My first time with these products... the jury is still out.
All I know is that the Glaze is a complete PITA to work with... damn near impossible to get off once dry.

Topped all that off with a few coats of wax and hit the tires with some gel.
She should be looking pretty good for this coming weekend.
