bought new hood hinges n put them in today to fix that infamous hood & fender rub. the old hindes were complete garbage. who knew it would be so much work to do hinges. oh yeah. did an oil change too. FUN FUN day!

 

Yea those hinges do suck, had to replace mine too.

^Thank you, I have been working hard The color is PPG's "blur-to-red" and I put three light coats over my cf hood and trunk so they look carbon but then they have a blue or red tint to them

No doubt its gonna be crazy. I hear ya, its sucks working by yourself. Ive got up at 7:30 the last to saturdays and then every day after work to get this **** done. I really think this saturday I can paint the car itself. Tomorrow is gonna be a long day of blocking all the primer and then finish it off in 600 grit. O and I still gotta fix the hood and trim the underside lol.

When I finally finish Im gonna get bombed and wake up at 2 in the afternoon lol. Dammit I deserve it!

 

Yup I go to work all day painting then come home at 5-7 so then I can go work out in my garage Yes this is a lot of work, most people drop there car of at the shop with a credit card and say "call me when its done" lol not us! But its all good, its wel worth it at the end Every time I build a car I take it off the road for the winter to do paint and body mods. Im allways happy in the summer because I did it my self........ but all winter im thinking, next car I buy will be a color I all ready like! It never works because I all ways want it "different" wtf!
