Re: Clear Bra???

Basically, the paint on the G's is soft and tends to chip fairly easy. In addition, the car is fairly low and the front bumper n hood will take alot of abuse. When you get your G, look at the lower panels, behind the doors but in front of the rear wheel. You will see a clear "tape like" patch. This is there from the factory to prevent chips in this heavily soiled area. Basically the clear bra is similar only there are pieces to cover the front bumper, the front of the hood, mirrors, etc. It is kinda pricey, but from what I hear it works very well. Some guys swear by it, others don't like the faint line in leaves (noticeable at close range). I do not have it and after 11,000 miles, I kinda wish I did have it done when the car was new. I would have done the front bumper for sure, not to sure about the hood or mirrors.
