So State Farm only gives you two weeks time where they pay for a replacement car rental??? Last time some jerk hit and totalled my car, I got a check from Commerce and had the choice to bank it or buy a replacement car whenever I get around to finding one that I liked

well i made the switch from commerce to progressive today, hopefully it was a good move i did it because the car is gonna be in storage for a year starting in sept (moving to australia for a year) and i want to save some money now because i usually only drive the car to work and home. i ended up saving 900$ which hopefuly it was a good idea we will see now i just hope for no accidents... thanx everyone for the responds and look forward to meeting everyone at the meet in april.

comprehensive coverage, especially if garaged and off the road, should be quite cheap.

^lol no, I only needed it for two weeks, and we got a check for the replacement car after a day or two. They took very good care of me.
