Is there anyone else in the NYC area that is noticing white spots (1/3 the size of a dime) on their cars?

I have a black g coupe and I notice these spots build up over the course of three/four days. The spots come off with some work, but if not for the Zaino I think it would actually do some paint damage.

Just curious if this is specific to Staten Island or if others are seeing this too.

It's not bird cr@p, although I seem to get my share of that...

And no to the cut-off thought. They almost seem like pollen but can't figure out why the stuff is always in the form of cicles??? And this only started like two weeks ago.

Worst case I just have to keep washing the G twice a week worst case I have a clean ride for the summer.

They do not look like that. They are not raised or lumpy and they wash off (sometimes requiring a second pass with the wash pad). I'd take a picture if I had my digital camera... it's out on loan at the moment.
