SO, got the HIDs today in the mail. For those of you that don't know, I ordered 3000k (yellow, and the brightest they make) in my fogs/highs. I also got the 55w ballast as opposed to the 35w. It's a little overkill... but it took forever to finally get here. There is a relay that comes with it that you hook up to the battery. This relay then takes "signal" or one of the factory headlight plugs plugs into it, to know when to be on highs or lows.. then there are two plugs coming from the relay to go to each of the 2 ballasts. Well, I cut up a bunch of wires in order to make them fit through the hole in the back of the headlight. Well, I didn't solder because I don't have one handy.

I hooked it up and everything worked as it should....




They are bright as FOCK!

Anywho... now all FOUR of my HID bulbs will either flicker or short out and shut off completely. So it's time to grab a soldering iron and get to work.

ft stewart is all right but pcs'n to bragg in oct for SF training....

 

Would you wanna come to Tony's on Saturday and kill to kill 2 birds with 1 stone? (His money and so I could borrow your soldering iron) lol I will have my new exhaust, TPs, and need to solder all those wires so I've got a lot ahead of me to do!

 

Oh yeah, and I can finally remember to leave those decals for Sameer!

 

After I wake up think ill roll up there is you guys are working on some stuff.

 

yeah dude i can do that if something changes (bc i think my tint might go on sat and friday will be a consultation to look at tint??) then ill meet you friday night and give all that to you and for Tony but as of now ill be down Sat whatever time that is youz guyz are doing that
