^ I thought about that, but my chair has armrests so it's hard to do comfortably. With the playseat, or any regular car seat, it would work out. I may build a full cockpit sometime in the future, but for now this is the 70% solution.

I thought it would feel awkward, but it's been working out so far.

i did mine the cheap way i had an old 2x4 and mounted it then put it under the seat cushion with the shifter sticking out the side, works great and is about where it should be

again just like you its a band-aid until i can make something bc i am not spending money for a seat, but i saw this mod where you take an e-brake from any car wire it to a button on the shifter to have a "working e-brake"

Yeah I'm not spending $360 for a playseat when you can fabricate the same for less than half the $. You can get a racing seat from Jegs for $40, or even an old seat from a junkyard. The rest is just wood and metal. I already had the chair, so the rest was an easy build. I've seen working speedo clusters on some forums. Crazy stuff, but I'm not sure I'll go that far, yet...

GT5 is all kinds of awesome. Whenever you guys wanna have another meet up, we can cook on the grill and have some fun. Hopefully we have some warm days coming up.

If I were single, I wouldn't even have a mortgage payment because I would have pimped this place out with roommates a long time ago.

Yeah, went well. No lecture involved. Machines break, we fix em, they break again. Just fixed the trans in my car and I know the rear is gonna come apart after a few hits.

RIchmond or Dinwiddie. Probably go to Dinwiddie better track prep and it's a little faster. It's pretty fast for a street car but nothing worth making a trip for. I'm trying to get a few guys to go on a street night pretty early in the season.
