New G35 Owner

Hey guys (and gals)!

Just picked up a 2005 G35 Coupe in Ivory Pearl (Premium Package, Sport Package, Aero Package, Nav Package). Been wanting to buy an Infiniti for a while now (been a Honda guy all my life ), so this is pretty exciting.

It's going to be my daily/beater car, so I'm looking forward to enjoying my drives to the grocery store

Previous owner was a friend of mine and took great care of the car. I won't be able to drive it for 3 months since I'm overseas at the moment in Korea, but its patiently sitting in the garage waiting to be driven. Looking forward to seeing how the VQ's torque will enhance the driving experience.

I do know the door actuator's do need to be fixed (my friend bought the parts for me), so when I'm back in Richmond, if anyone is experienced and wants to help, then it would be much appreciated

So here's a history of my car ownership in the past 3 years:

2003 S2000 AP1 Berlina Black (Bought - 18,000 miles, Sold 44,000 Miles)
2008 Acura TL (Bought 40,000 Miles, Sold 60,000 miles)
2005 S2000 AP2 New Formula Red (Bought 18,000 Miles, Sold 22,000 Miles)
2003 S2000 AP1 Berlina Black with Hardtop (Bought 54,000 Miles, Sold 60,000 Miles)
2005 Nissan Frontier (Bought 40,000 Miles, Sold 66,000 Miles)
2005 Acura TSX (Bought 50,000 miles, Sold 60,000 Miles)

Finally 2005 G35 Coupe (Bought 119,000 Miles, Sold - Hopefully never, but as you can tell my car history is pretty intense).

I will probably pick up another S2000 when I can make some space in the garage earlier 2015.

On a side note, considering the mileage and immaculate condition, do you guys think $8500 was a fair price to pay?

See you guys at a meet sometime soon (if there's one in Richmond/Tri-City).

Hey guys. I really need help!!!!

I had a blown head gasket and decided to to an engine swap because I had 185xxx miles on my engine. I took it to the shop and they swapped it for me but the car isn't running right at all. It will turn over but won't stay started. It would ball out like my car is stalling out (with no jerk). The new engine has 65k miles on it. Idk the problem I replaced a bunch of sensors and it still didn't run right. I had got the shop to replace my clutch also and I made sure the flywheel was timed correctly. Still no start. So I took it to the Infiniti dealership and they ran a test and said my manifold was leaking. I checked that and I didn't have no cracks and all the gaskets are fine!

PLEASE HELP!!! It's been 2 months without my car

So the dealer did a ecu code dump and said it was the ?!

Sounds like the knock sensor, if you have changed cam, crank position, and others already?

You need the dealer, or Hills Garage, someone with the infiniti ecu reader, not the OBDII codes to see what's up.
