I did a mini-detail on the G yesterday and then brought my daughter to Toys-R-Us to spend her allowance. Of course, we got caught in a mini-hurricane and the G got dirty. I had crap loads of leaves and stuff in the wheel wells and it was all water spotted thanks to the pound of pollen that came with the rain.
I just finished a second quick scrub of the G and backed it into the garage and brought the doors down. Hopefully, my clean car doesn't make it rain again today.

I've detailed the car 2x already this weekend! I did it Friday night at the carwash meet, then Saturday morning cuz it rained and my ******* neighbor thought it would be a great idea to use a weed wacker and throw grass blades at my new front end paint job and my polished wheels. I had to CAREFULLY pick and scrape the grass out of my new clearcoat with a terrycloth towel and some rubbing alcohol. I swear I was 2 sec away from commiting a crime when I came outside.

So then I had to detail it again and polished it too while I was at it. Only to drive to Wal-mart to grab some stuff for the GF and on the way back to Boston I get caught in a damn HAIL STORM while on 24 heading back to 93. Freaking ice pellets the size of ballbearings are hitting the car hard enough that I thought my windshield was gonna crack several times!

I was so pissed, I got home and fortunately as far as I could tell the G suffered no damage to the paint or any dents. I was just lookin' for a reason to give Corey the car for a full paintjob too so HAIL would have certainly fit the bill as "an act of God" for insurance purposes

Well Mike the weather station has it on file that there was a Hail storm so if you end up finding one or two dents per-panel then you would be all set

MIKEEEEEEEEEEEEe. Missed a good time. The city wasn't as much of a mess as I anticipated, and that place produced YET again. Every time I'm there it's a good time... I really think a lot of the broads go there shopping for penor.

But I'm usually out every Saturday, so... Anytime

I wanted to go but the way you said the parking was going to look and the way it was gonna be packed with people had me second guessing going. Now I wish I went

Well we're gonna have to link up on a Saturday REAL soon so I can go "hunting" too

well I'm posting it here first cuz i dont want people asking to have these done yet but i successfully setup individually drilled LEDs in my clearance strips! No more pre-made LED strips with mediocre brightness. The LEDs i used for this project are so bright that just a single LED is brighter than all of the LEDs in one of the strips combined.

If I had to compare them to something I'd say they're the equivalent of the Audi LEDs in their headlights but smaller

I'll post pics tonight so you guys can see what i did...
