Got pulled over Friday night...
I'm driving down Tremont St. into Egleston Sq in Roxbury late Friday night with my girlfriend in the car. I have on just my LEDs in the headlights like I always do when I'm driving in the city (2 sets of 8,000K HIDs is overkill for city driving). I come to a stop light and going in the opposite direction is a police cruiser also stopped at the light. The light turns green and I proceed thru the intersection. The cruiser makes a U turn and throws on the lights and whips up behind me. I put on my hazard lights and pull to the side of the road and the cruiser instead of pulling up behind me pulls along side my car and the cop in the passenger side of the cruiser leans out the car and asks me where I got my headlights! He goes on to tell me he has a 06 coupe and wants me to do a set of headlights for him
he got out the car and took a good look at the lights, never once noticing or mentioning that my headlights aren't even on and its a little after midnight... for those of you who haven't seen my headlights I put projector lenses in my turn signals and wired them to stay on hyper white when I'm driving but they flash amber when I use the turn signals. So in effect my turn signals appear to be my headlights
That was a really random thing getting pulled over to have a cop ask me to make a set of headlights for him... thought I'd share LOL

yeah as soon as the lights came on I was like " WTF they must be bored or something to be messing with me tonight, its not like I was speeding or anything." They literally watched me pull away from a stop light.
But yeah it was funny all the same as soon as he asked where I got my headlights done cuz he wanted a set

I drove through a local intersection yesterday and as I did, I noticed a cop car up ahead in a parking lot. As I drove by, he slowly pulled out and followed behind me. I pulled into a gas station and parked next to a pump... I saw him pull in behind me. He was parked behind me (sideways) so I got out to pump gas and never made eye contact. As I got to about $20 in gas, he pulled his car up next to mine (still trying not to make notice of him) and I hear "Excuse me, is that an 09?"
Next thing you know, we're in a 15 minute long conversation about my car... the whole time, me trying to not talk about performance or it's quickness.
I thought I got pinched for driving too fast or something.. it was just a cop with an appreciation for cars.
