Any of you guys ever played?
It's a total adrenaline rush... doesn't matter if it's speedball or woodsball.

Would anyone be interested in getting a group together? If you've never done it before, it's a blast hunting complete strangers and shooting them just for sport. (I don't keep the meat)

Anyone game? There's lots of fields in MA. Upton is fairly central and they have a great field there.

 

I played once and loved it. But I don't have any gear other than the mask.

 

I did it once in the woods. It was an awesome experience. Unfortunately I don't have any gear.

 

You don't need gear. You can rent everything you need.
Owning your own marker makes the day a little more affordable, since you can bring your own paint, but I played for years with rentals.
They got some pretty good package deals for those renting.

 

I'd like to try it...I could put my military training to use...

 

We can discuss it a little more tomorrow, but I'm thinking of putting together a paintball day, if we have enough interest. Maybe in the cooler months... Sept maybe.

 

Yes, definetly not in the summer! I played indoors in a warehouse, but they had the heat off. Could see your breath. I was sweating like a pig after each round....

Totally forgot to bring this up today, but I'd like to see at least 5 or 6 people interested before going any further. The larger the group the better. We can all be on one team and just go in and destroy

I'm dying to try the new marker out. 20 rounds per second.... that has to be fun.

Used to play in the NEPL, (New England Paintball League) for 4 years. Very expensive sport...More expensive then modding your G...hahaha

 

It was good and nope I didnt get laid. Some Dbag was all over the only good looking single chick. Damn cockblockers. There was some hot "taken" girls though.

Very expensive indeed, if you are playing regularly without sponsorship.
But for us to play a couple times a year, I think it would be a blast.

We're playing this year. I'll put something together in the next month or so, with our first semi-annual game scheduled sometime in the Spring.
We should be able to pull off one Spring and one Fall game per year... more often if we want to.
