I was wondering if there is a period where winter tires go on sale?
I heard its around the Sept Oct time frame.
Is that true? I would think companies would want to milk consumers during that time when everyone is getting ready for the winter.

Anyone had the chance to study the market trends on winter tire prices?

 

I don't put mine on until the first forecast of snow, usual mid-November. I take them off as soon as practical, usually the end of March.

It's almost time for prices to start going up, or at least the sales ending. If you can grab a deal, I'd hop on that like a virgin 18 yr old in her high school cheerleading outfit. I roll on Bridgestone Winter Sport M3's and am an absolute fan; I'll definitely get another set when it's time.

 

call town fair tire, ask them when do the manufactures put the snows on sale,, can't hurt to ask. and i figure they see all the deals cuz they deal with them every day.

i get a lota emails from TR.com. they all seem to be like the $50 rebate if u buy 4 goodyears, or something similar. and they tend to come out randomly.

 

I watched the ads in Car and Driver and sometime in the fall, they start showing the killer TireRack winter package deals. That's how I landed my Blizzack WS-50 setup.

 

With my new BBK my current 17 winter setup has to be sold.., if you want a good set for cheap PM me..
